TeSelle, Johanna Margaret (1910-1996)
Johanna Margaret TeSelle was born in Crawford, Delta County, Colorado on 26 February 1910. Her parents were John Willem TeSelle (1867-1945) and Geertje VanderBeek (1871-1922). She married Jack Clyde Fries (1912-1984) on 23 December 1934 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Johanna died in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana on 3 January 1996.
VanderBeek, Geertie (1871-1922)
Geertie VanderBeek was born in South Holland, Cook County, Illinois on 12 May 1871. She married John Willem TeSelle (1867-1945) in Lancaster County, Nebraska on 23 June 1897. She died on 4 March 1922 in Crawford, Delta County, Colorado, where she is also buried.

Carolyn TeSelle Valentine
Carolyn TeSelle Valentine, at the age of 71, gave her minister some notes about her life. As a child she lived with her parents, Jan Willem and Geertie TeSelle, on their dairy farm and orchard in Fruitland Mesa, Colorado. She moved to Matlock, Iowa with her father and siblings when Jan Willem married Jeannette Bogaard after Geertie’s death in 1922. Carolyn had two daughters, Mary Lou and Arlyn Joan, with her husband Arnold Valentine.
