Today, the sixth of December, eighteen hundred seventy-seven, at eleven o’clock in the morning in lodging-house “De Klok” in Winterswijk, I, Johan Balthazar Dericks, Notary, located in Winterswijk, province of Gelderland, in the presence of witnesses, proceeded to state the starting price of the hereafter described real estates, and to state what will take place at the second and final auction fourteen days from today on the twentieth of this month. This auction is being held at the request and in the presence of the following persons:

1st: Mister Hendrik Goossens stone factory owner living in Meddeho, district of Winterswijk, in his capacity as:

  • a. authorized representative of Mister Barend Jan Goossens, master of science in philosophy, living in Leiden and such in accordance with private power of attorney dated Winterswijk the thirtieth of August of this year on which the following account of registration is stated: “Registered in Groenlo the fifteenth of September 1877 part 37, folio 113, recto, section 1. One page no renvooi Received for taxes f. 0,80 for 38 surcharges f. 030 5 together one guilder ten and a half cent. The Collector (signed) “Huiskes” being this mandate attached to a record of second auction drawn up and signed for me Notary the thirteenth of September of this year; and
  • b. authorized representative of Mister Albertus Theodorus Goossens, medical practitioner, surgeon and obstetrician living in Steenderen, as guardian of:
    — a. the minor Jan Willem Johannes Theodorus and Maria Gesina Goossens, born out of the marriage of the now late Mister Steven Jan Goossens and Miss Salomina Alberta Hijink; and
    — b. the minor Johanna Goossens born out of the marriage of the now late husband and wife Mister Steven Jan Goossens and Miss Wilhelmina Aleida Coster, being this mandate handed out by private mandate dated Steenderen the last thirteenth of October and which has been attached to a deed drawn up in front of me, Notary, on the eighteenth of the same month, while the mandate is provided with the next account of registration “Registered in Groenlo the twentieth of October 1877, part 37, folio 123 verso, section 4. “One page a renvooi. 2nd: Mister Jan Esselink, landowner at Vriezenhuis in Woold, district of Winterswijk, in his capacity of supervising guardian over the three aforementioned minors.

3rd: Mister Christiaan Tieleman Coster, manufacturer living in Winterswijk, in his capacity of supervising guardian over the latter mentioned minor.

To this sale has been given authorization in favor of the minors mentioned by the district court in Zutphen by its judgment on the fifteenth of November of this year. The auction will take place under the following conditions:

Article Five: What has to be auctioned is after the surcharge, at the expense and risk of the buyers, who accept it with all fun and trouble, rights and duties, right of exits and crossings, without exception, known or unknown, being expressly stipulated for by the sellers, buyers buy on own assets and liabilities, and more specifically with regard to the size, without further ado, without them being obliged to any indemnification how it may named;

Article Six: Buyers will accept the goods for auction in the following way, as there are:

a. the house next to the Mennonites parsonate with garden at the rear and large outside garden, the pasture at the Sellenkamp, pasture near to Melatenhuis, the parcels in the Balinkveld, at the Bredevoordschen gravel road, at the goordijk and at the Bocholtschen dijk immediately;

b. the tienden the first of January eighteen- hundred nine and seventy

c. the remaining parcels, which are leased out can be cancelled of tenancy after giving notice to the tenants and can be taken in own use. The buyers with this regard step by subrogation into all rights and obligations of the sellers as landlords which they are supposed to know whereas the revenues of the outside garden at the Balinkesch till twenty two February, the house on the Lappenbrink and the Churchseats till one May and the remaining till the eleventh of November, all of the next year are still for the benefit of the sellers;

Article 9. The pennies of purchase will have to be paid, regardless of circumstances, into the hands of sellers or their authorized representatives at the office of the notary who is handling this auction, in large Dutch money at the next first of May.
